About

Dear Reader,
Thank you for your interest in Celeste and Yvette. Based upon my actual pets, this story came out of a love and gratefulness for them and all animals. The story takes Celeste and Yvette a bit beyond their actual existence, and yet some things are in keeping with their real lives. They are friends, and they do live in the North Carolina mountains.

Celeste was adopted from the Watauga County Humane Society in 2018 when she was 2 months old. Yvette was adopted from the Avery County Humane Society in 2010 when she was a kitten. Rabbits are called kittens too when they are babies! 🙂 And, did you know that a group of rabbits is called a fluffle? ❤

My hope is that their little lives bring some good cheer into the world.
